Porotherm in action

We first came across Porotherm clay blocks last year during a CPD with Wienerberger, and they immediately caught our attention. Unlike typical building materials, Porotherm offered a new approach to construction with clear environmental and practical benefits.

Made from natural clay, the blocks have a lower environmental footprint while maintaining strength, durability, and longevity. Their multi-cell design also improves energy efficiency, making it a well-rounded choice for modern builds like our own.

Our first opportunity to use Porotherm was on our Love Lane project in Pinner earlier this year. Our build team on site praised how straightforward it was to work with, and the interlocking system removed the need for vertical mortar joints, simplifying the process and streamlining construction - making it much faster to build than traditional methods.

As a result, Porotherm has become an integral part of our toolkit, increasingly replacing traditional concrete blockwork in our projects. Its blend of efficiency, sustainability, and ease of installation supports our commitment to building smarter, greener projects.
